REFERENCES Ad Schaerlaeckens pigeons.
Every year A Schaerlaeckens donates some vouchers for a couple of eggs. Fanciers can bid, the money is for charity. The bids go extremely high every year (up to 3,500 €) for just 2 eggs. Of course this is not only due to spectacular results of Ad but also to the unbelievable results of his birds in other lofts. ‘National’ means the best of ALL Holland or Belgium.
A short and incomplete summary:
- Luc van Mechelen Belgium had FOUR NATIONAL ACE PIGEONS and two 2nd prize winners National (up to 30,000 p), bred from ORIGINAL Schaerlaeckens birds.
- Jochems van Hasselt (B) bred a 1st NATIONAAL Issoudun z from an Original A S.
- Marcel Wouters (B) had 1e National Ace KBDB. The mother of this best birds from Belgium was an original A S.
- R v d Zijde had the National Ace Long distance bred from 2 Schaerlaeckensbirds.
- C Maas had the National Ace Middle Distance. Parents were from A S.
- Co Verbree had the best cock and the best hen from Nederlands. They were bred from a cock of Schaerlaeckens.
- Harrie Kennis had Nationale Ace Middle D bred from original Schaerlaeckens.
- B Pieper had a National Ace Middle D bred from originial A S.
- Boeckx had the 1st provincial and 4th National Ace short distance. The father was a direct bird from A S.
C Leytens got 2 birds from Ad S. One became father of his ‘Worldchampion fond’, the other became father of 1st Olympiad bird short distance.
Ebben got from Ad his Indy. This birds won 6 firsts in Combine. In 2018 he raced 2 youngsters from Ad. They became 1st and 2nd Ace in the Combine.
Stabel bought a voucher donated by Ad. It produced S National winner Gien plus top ten winners NPO S National.
Fred La Bruyn got from Ad s descendant ‘Wounded Knee.’ It became 3rd best bird of Holland.
Michel Vanlint won 1st National Argenton in Belgium with ‘Anita’. He got this child of brother Ace Four from W de Bruijn.
Berry v d Brandt had the best long distance bird of Netherlands. The mother was bred from Schaerlaeckens birds.
Henri van Doorn had the best young bird from Netherlands, bred from a Schaerlaeckens pigeon.
M Huisman bred the 5th National Ace young from a Schaerlaeckens cock.
Swichtenberg from Rostock became 1st Champion of ALL GERMANY and had 3 NATIONAL ace pigeons in first 15. All Schaerlaeckens.
B v Oeckel (B) bred 1st, 3rd and 13th National zone winners from birds Ad S.
P v d Merwe bred winners against 20.000 p from his Schaerlaeckensbirds. Especially ‘Favorietje’ inbred Ace Four was a sensational breeder.
Bubbels and Alessandro were basic pigeons Bas Verkerk and made him famous. He got these sensational breeders from Ad S.
Jespers v d Wegen had a bird called ‘Fleur’. It was described in the pigeon press as the best breeding hen in Belgium at the time. ‘Fleur’ was bred by Ad.
‘Super Mario’ from Hallman Germany is described as the best breeder of all time for One Loft Races. Mr Hallman got the parents from AS.
Mr. Aue also from Germany bought in 2001 6 pigeons from Ad S. They all bred real well, he said. The offspring made him in 2019 3rd NATIONAL Champion of ALL Germany.
Latest:
Mr Carlos from Mexico mentioned the great competition in Guadalajara where in the first young bird races in 2022 no less than 35,000 pigeons competed. The best young bird in 2022 was bred from Schaerlaeckenspigeons.
Mr Omar Al Hamli said the dominance of the Schaerlaeckens birds in Dubai is striking. Mainly offspring 006.
